Michelle Obama would NEVER Say This

There is a link between your health and your success.  As a busy high-achiever, you probably know all too well how hard it is to juggle your health and fitness goals with your work schedule. So my advice to STOP struggling, is to stop letting yourself off the hook by saying “I’m too busy to eat healthy and exercise!” You’ll never hear successful people like Michelle Obama, or any great business leader saying: “I just can’t do it, I’m too busy.” I know it’s not easy, but instead of struggling with this, or saying this to yourself, I invite you to subscribe to my FREE podcast series called Fit For Success now to find out what successful people ARE saying and learn their secrets to success on your own time, at your own pace. I’ve spent the past few months interviewing 6 and 7-figure business owners to learn what has worked for them and what their secrets to success are in both the boardroom and weight room. I’ve noticed that they just don’t make excuses for themselves, and it shows in their results.   I believe that everyone can learn from the likes of these crazy-awesome successful women and men who have

Why fast weight loss is harmful (and what to do instead)

Today is the last day of January, and maybe you’re feeling a little frustrated because you haven’t lost as much weight as you wanted when you set your goals for the new year. First…BREATHE! It’s ok. In fact, in this week’s video (below) I’ll show you why losing weight fast isn’t the best thing for your body. We’ve all seen shows like The Biggest Loser, where people lose incredible amounts of weight in short periods of time, right? Heck, I even remember when I was in my 20s it felt like I could lose 5 pounds just by doing a few pushups and calling it a day. The fact is that rapid weight loss is NOT the best path to health. In fact, as I share in the video, it’s actually pretty stressful on your body to take those extreme measures that you might see on TV. A lot of those people end up gaining the weight back pretty quickly. I explain why this is the case, and give you a few things you can do right now that will set you up for long term health success in the video. Watch it here and find out how to feel good NOW,

The right way to lose weight Permanently

Every New Year, losing weight is one of the most popular “resolutions.” The gyms know this, and so do the companies who sell weight loss programs or pills, which is why you see so many commercials, Facebook ads, and flyers about weight loss and fitness in January. Here’s the truth… Most New Year’s resolutions to lose weight never stick, because far too many people only focus on short term fixes like drastically cutting calories, joining a diet program that isn’t right for their body, or starting a workout plan that’s completely unsustainable. These things may give you some short term benefit, but how many times have you tried something like this, only to gain the weight back, or end up giving up a few weeks or months into the program? In this week’s Tuesday Tip Video taken from one of my recent speaking engagements, I tell you exactly why those drastic, short term solutions don’t work, and what to do INSTEAD. Watch the video below, but let me give you a few teasers on how to lose that excess weight permanently: You must learn to respect your body You must train your body to trust you so it stops holding onto

How Fitness Supports Your Business and Career Goals

Happy New Year! I’m so excited for 2017! How about you? One of my favorite activities at the start of the year is to visualize what kind of year I want to create in my business. I reflect on the kinds of people I want to serve, the kinds of programs I want to offer, and of course how much money I want to make. Here’s the really cool part though… My fitness goals play HUGE part in the success of my business for the year. The better we feel, the more sales we make. The healthier we are, the more productive we stay. The more rested and balanced we are, the better we can serve our clients and grow our businesses. In this first Tuesday Tip of the new year, I thought you’d enjoy hearing an interview I did with my good friend and business colleague, Kerry Ann Rockquemore.  Her commitment to fitness and self care has helped her grow her business over 30% and she’s expecting to hit 5 million dollars in revenue this year! (Inspiring right?!?!) Catch the interview and tips here <<< Learn from a brilliant businesswoman for FREE Kerry Ann’s Company serves over 90,000 professors at nearly
